Mt Pleasant city commissioners have discontinued the pandemic-inspired Broadway Center but hope to host similar events at the proposed Town Center in the future. Construction of the grant-funded Town Center project will be on-going starting in the spring, commissioners opted to cancel the warm weather event series for this summer because of the parking issues it will cause.
