Gladwin County Sheriff Mike Shea said if the public safety millage doesn’t pass, it’s not an empty threat that the 24/7 coverage deputies offer will be jeopardized. The proposal will be on the Nov. 7th ballot after failing by 74 votes in the August 8th election. County commissioners voted to put it back on the upcoming ballot.
