Members of The Zonta Club of Midland were thrilled with the recent passage of a state law prohibiting marriage for anyone under the age of 18. This was a law they, along with fellow Zonta Clubs from around the state have advocated for many years. With our Governor signing the bill into law back on Sept. 27th, Michigan became the 10th US state to ban child marriages.
