Hayley Atwell is shutting down those rumors about her dating Tom Cruise. Atwell shared that she finds the whole rumor mill uncomfortable, and that she and Tom are just friends. In fact, Tom is more like an “uncle” to her, she says.
Hayley spoke to “The Independent,” saying that she doesn’t like how these types of rumors impact her life and the lives of the people she’s close with. “It’s involving people in my actual life, my personal life, who have to be on the receiving end of that.”
Hayley recently got engaged to musician Ned Wolfgang Kelly. As for the rumors, Tom Cruise apparently told Hayley to stay true to herself, and not worry about what the rest of the world thinks.
