A 3 week trial, followed by a 9 hour deliberation, delivered a jury award of $28 million to a Gladwin Family who sued My Michigan Health for malpractice. Chicago based attorney Matt Patterson represented the family of 4-year-old Kendall Bertlaume, who is diagnosed with cerebral-palsy, spastic quad-riplegia and a seizure disorder.  The suit claimed the Midland clinic gave mom Nicole the drug, Pitocin to induce labor in 2018. After an hour, she went into excessive uterine activity.
