- Federal prosecutors proved that Todd and Julie Chrisley financed their luxe life with $30-million of money they stole through a bank fraud scheme and through tax evasion.
- The couple was convicted in June of submitting false documents to request bank loans, and using their production company to hide income from the IRS.
- But now they know their fate – Todd has been sentenced to 12 years – plus 16 months probation, and Julie will go away for seven years – and also serve 16 months probation.
- The couple will also pay restitution.
