The Mt Pleasant Police Dept. has announced that Officer Chris Leonard has been named Youth Services Unit Officer for Mt Pleasant High School. Officer Leonard joined the MPPD in April of this year. Prior law enforcement experiences includes, 13 years of service with the Isabella Co. Sheriff’s Office as a corrections sergeant and road patrol deputy. He also received his corrections academy certificate from Mid-Mich Comm College and is a graduate of the Delta College Police Academy.
