With today being “deer day” the Isabella County Sheriff’s office says they’ve taken more than 90 car-deer crashes in the last 2 weeks, which is about 10 percent of the approximate 800 calls his deputies take in a year. Statewide, between dusk & dawn during October & November are the primary times for car-deer crashes to occur, which primarily happen on two lane roads.
