A man from the Mid-Michigan area has been selected as the National Scleroderma Foundations Support Group Volunteer of the Year. Michael Bessert, who suffers from the disease, was chosen on Sunday as the Volunteer, nationwide. The foundation said he “leads by example & encourages others to engage in their communities!” He recently turned 65 & has been a lifelong resident of St. Louis Michigan!
