Season 30 of “Dancing With The Stars” is in full swing!

ABC kept the premiere fun by skipping the elimination round, but now things are getting serious. Especially since Cheryl Burke contracted a breakthrough case of COVID-19, meaning she and Cody Rigsby’s routine was judged by a pre-taped rehearsal. Here’s what happened:

  • Matt James and Lindsay Arnold delivered a spicy – and a bit goofy when Matt did a striptease for the judges – Samba to “Levitating” by Dua Lipa. There were some awkward bits here and there, but altogether a solid routine that earned them a score of 22. That brought their two-week score to 46.
  • Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy hit the ballroom with a Viennese Waltz to “Better Days” by Ant Clemons and Justin Timberlake. While Olivia Jade is surrounded by controversy considering her parents’ roles in the college admission scandal, she’s certainly proving her own skills on the dance floor. Their routine earned the duo a high score of 27, for a two-week total of 52.
  • Kenya Moore and Brandon Armstrong did the Cha-Cha to “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer in bright pink outfits. Kenya didn’t seem as confident this time around, and there were some missteps, but they still got a solid score of 24 for a two-week total of 50.
  • The Miz and Witney Carson hit the floor next, and Miz was bringing the energy for their Tango to “Nothin’ But A Good time” by Poison. There were jumps and pyro for an all-around good time that earned the duo a score of 26 (that’s a two-week total of 50).
  • Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess obviously have chemistry as a real-life couple, but it didn’t exactly translate in the ballroom this time around. They did a Rumba routine “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur, but Brian’s choreography was a bit of a snooze. In the end, they got a score of 23 for a two-week total of 47.
  • The highest score of the night? Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten, thanks to their Foxtrot to “It Had To Be You” by Ray Chew. They earned themselves a 32, for a two-week total of 60.
  • The lowest score of the night? That honor went to Martin Kove and Britt Stewart for their Cha-Cha to “Twist & Shout” by The Isley Brothers. They got a 15 for a total of 28 between weeks one and two.

Here’s the rest of the scores:

  • Christine Chiu and Pasha Pashkov’s Salsa to “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee earned them a 24, for a two-week total of 49.
  • Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater did the Rumba to Jimmie’s own song “Make Me Want To.” They scored 27 for a two-week total of 49.
  • JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson did the Cha-Cha to “Rain On Me” by Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. They got a high score of 31, for a two-week total of 60.
  • Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach did the Rumba to “U Know What’s Up” by Donell Jones. They earned a 25 for a total of 46.
  • Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev also did the Rumba, to “All By Myself” by Celine Dion. They earned a 27 for a total of 53.
  • Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke’s pre-recorded Salsa to “Don’t Go Yet” by Camila Cabello got a 25 for a total of 48.
  • Mel C and Gleb Savchenko scored a 30 for a total of 57 for their Foxtrot to “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles.
  • Suni Lee and Sasha Farber did the Cha-Cha to “I Like It” by Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin, scoring a 28 for a total of 56.

Then, it was time for the first elimination of the season. Christine Chiu and Martin Kove were in jeopardy, but Christine and Pasha were given another chance by the judges. That meant Martin and Britt were eliminated.

Season 30 is just getting started! “Dancing With The Stars” airs Mondays at 8pm ET on ABC!
