We can now add Octavia Spencer to the list of celebs coming to Ellen DeGeneres’ defense. To review, she’s been accused of creating a toxic work environment on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
The Oscar winner posted a throwback of Ellen and said that she was sending love and support to her and all her employees. “All of my interactions with everyone from the show, including ELLEN, were supportive and fun!” Octavia noted. “In that spirit, I am praying all involved get the love and support they need.”
Naturally, things got so live in the comments that Octavia had to come back and update her caption to address those who felt like she couldn’t be objective because people were supposed to be nice to her as a talent. She said that she could only speak to her experiences, which were positive. She made it a point to add that not everyone is nice to talent.
