Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office is ramping up efforts to enforce Gov. Whitmer’s executive order that provides rules and procedures that long-term care facilities must follow to protect the health of their employees and residents. The order outlines protections for residents of these facilities including barring evictions for non-payments and lists several requirements to help keep the residents safe and healthy. A $500 fine or 90 days in jail could be the result of violating this order.
