Michigan’s Work Share program allows workers, who have seen their hours reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, be compensated for their losses through state and federal unemployment benefits. That means workers who have had their hours or pay reduced are eligible for weekly payments of $600 from the federal government, on top of their employer compensation until the end of July 2020.
