We told you that Amanda Bynes was engaged to Paul Michael. But whether she’ll actually walk down the aisle isn’t her decision.
Since Amanda has battled drug use and has been diagnosed as being bipolar, her mother, Lynn Bynes, has been named as her conservator. And she – not the actress – has the final say on many things. According to West Coast Trial Lawyers president Neama Rahmani, “If [her] parents [don’t] consent to the marriage, they can petition the court to annul the marriage on the basis of Amanda’s ‘unsound mind.’”
