A Montcalm man fell out of the bed of a pickup truck in Ludington and died. The man, who is from Crystal, fell, hit his head on the pavement and was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the truck said his sandal got stuck on the gas pedal when it surged forward causing the man to fall.
