You would think people would learn about job shaming after the Geoffrey Owens incident. They have not. The latest victim is Brian Dunkleman. According to the paperwork TMZ obtained in Brian’s divorce from Kalea Dunkleman, the former “American Idol” host has been making a living as an Uber driver since March 2016…and that he works about 45 hours a week for about $8-hundred bucks.
When Brian heard that the news site was reporting on his life, he took to Twitter to comment. “I chose to stop doing standup comedy and started driving an Uber so I could be there for my son as much as he needed after our life as we knew it was destroyed,” he said. “Print that.” Furthermore, he added that he makes over a thousand dollars on a good week.
Dunkleman’s girlfriend, Andrea Whitney, also defended her man. She posted a picture of him with his five-year-old son, Jackson, and says, “This is why he’s an Uber driver. [Screw] you, [TMZ].”
