Police have identified the victim that was killed in small plane crash in Chesaning, on Saturday morning around 10:20am. 83 year old William Charles Burns, from Vernon, died upon impact. Witnesses are saying they heard a plane engine cut out & saw the plane come nearly straight down. It was only a mile from the airport. Mr. Burns was a pilot, instructor & had been flying planes for years. The crash remains under investigation.
