The next step for Mt. Pleasant’s proposed marijuana ordinance will be a public hearing before the planning commission. The hearing is set for the May 3 planning commission meeting at 7 PM at City Hall. After the public hearing, the planning commission will make its recommendation on the proposed ordinance to the city commission, and they will then have a public hearing of its own.
