A 43-year-old Mt. Pleasant woman is in jail after hurling a piece of wood at a man’s head. The man was bleeding from the head near his ear when police arrived. The couple has been arguing and drinking before she took the piece of wood from a table in the home and threw it at him. The 32-year-old man was treated at the scene.
