Michigan’s Treasury of Department is altering a tax on medical marijuana card holders in the state. They said earlier this year it wants medical marijuana cardholders to pay a 6 percent tax on purchased products, regardless of where they’re sold. Medical marijuana patients will now be required to claim their purchases on their annual state tax returns as a use tax.
