The Midland County Parks and Recreation Commission, which operates the largest section of the rail trail beginning at Dublin Road and ending at the county line near Coleman, has approved the use of Class 1 e-bikes on its portion. Class 1 e-bikes can be operated manually and includes a motor that reaches speeds of up to 20 MPH.
