Mt Pleasant city hall was packed Monday night as commissioners voted on a controversial zoning issue. One of them involve Mission Street buildings and a plan to change the zoning of 64 properties on University, Franklin and Lansing streets north of the Central Michigan University campus to put an emphasis on single-family housing. The zoning code won approval.
