A Mt. Pleasant bookkeeper could be facing prison time after pleading last week to embezzling more than $100,000 from her employer. Jennifer Kae Jerman, of Mt. Pleasant was charged last September with one count of embezzlement of $100,000 or more. she did it by writing herself extra payroll checks each month over several years.
