Mt. Pleasant City commissioners will vote TODAY on a proposed Brownfield plan concerning an apartment project planned for downtown Mt. Pleasant. The amendment must pass by a super majority, meaning at least five of the seven commissioners must vote yes. THEY ARE LOOKING AT Parcel B, located directly west of City Hall on Broadway Street. IT has been vacant land for years. A public hearing also will be held as part of the meeting at City Hall.
