2 young children were hurt(one critically), after Michigan State Police say the buggy they were in was hit by a semi-truck. It happened in Wexford Township, after and 11 year old boy lost control of the reigns on his Amish buggy, causing the horse to run into the intersection. The truck driver avoided hitting the buggy and hit the horse instead. A 9-year old passenger was taken to the hospital with critical injures, while the 6yr old wasn’t hospitalized. Neither the buggy driver or truck driver were hurt.
