Gal Gadot is taking a strong stand against sexual harassment in Hollywood. In fact, she’s issuing an ultimatum to Warner Brothers Studio – either Brett Ratner goes, or she won’t sign on for a “Wonder Woman” sequel.
To review, Brett has been accused of being a sexual harasser. Brett’s RatPac-Dune Entertainment helped produce “Wonder Woman” as part of its co-financing deal with Warner Bros. Brett made a pretty penny off $400 million dollar grossing film.
But Gal has said that she won’t sign for a sequel unless Warner buys Brett out and gets rid of him. An insider who described her as being tough and principled said, “She…knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet. She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.” While reps for Gal and Brett didn’t comment, a Warner Bros rep said, “False.”
