Beal City vs Chip Hills– Beal has a must win game vs a very good Chip Hills squad. If Beal City wins they should be able to get into the playoffs at 5 and 4, if not they will miss the playoffs for the first time since 1999. Remus Chippewa Hills locked up a playoff spot with their 6th win last week.
Beaverton vs Clare– The Jack Pine conference comes down to this one game… undefeated Beaverton vs one loss Clare. This game should be the ultimate offense vs defense matchup. Clare has averaged 52 points since their week one loss to Ithaca, and Beaverton has shut out 3 of their last 4 opponents (and their other win was a 69-20 blowout). What a game it will be in Beaverton!!
Alma vs Big Rapids– Alma should be able to regain some momentum heading to the playoffs as they have lost their last 2 after winning their first six games. They play 3 and 5 Big Rapids
Blanchard Montabella vs Saranac– Blanchard Montabella can give themselves their first shot at the playoffs since 2014 if they beat Saranc and get to 5 and 4 on the year. However, it won’t be easy as Saranac is looking for their 6th win on the year.
Breckenridge vs St Louis– The battle of M-46 may be St Louis biggest football game, well ever… They can get their 6th win and lock up a playoff spot for the first time ever! Things will not be easy for the sharks, Kenyan Story and Breckenridge haven’t lost since week 1.
Ithaca vs Carrolton– Ithaca is definitely the favorite in this game, however 6 and 2 Carrolton only 2 losses on the year are to Saginaw Swan Valley and Freeland. This will be Ithaca’s biggest regular season challenge of the year. Both of these teams are safely in the playoffs and will be hoping to make deep runs.
Harrison hosts Sanford Meridian– Harrison looks to pick up their 6th win and guarantee themselves a spot in the playoffs.
Midland Bullock Creek at Hemlock– It won’t be east to close the season out on a positive note for Bullock Creek as Hemlock looks for their 6th win and a playoff spot.
Lakeview vs Stanton Central Montcalm– Lakeview is another team that can get to 6 wins and a guaranteed playoff spot as they host Central Montcalm.
Midland High vs Midland Dow– It appears that TC West could be headed to Division one in the playoffs, that would keep these two teams from playing each other in consecutive weeks. There is a good chance these two teams make deep runs in the playoffs and meet again. For now this game is for bragging rights between the two Saginaw Valley League Champions, and call it a neutral field as both 7 and 1 squad’s share the same field…Check out both bands combining at half for a sweet show!
Mt Pleasant hosts Saginaw Heritage– If the Oilers want a shot at the playoffs they have to beat Saginaw Heritage and hope to get in on playoff points. Saginaw Heritage comes into this game at 2 and 6. Listen to the Oilers go for win number five on your #1 home for HS sports in Mid- Michigan My1043
Sacred Heart at Saginaw Nouvel– Nouvel is undefeated, but the Irish haven’t lost since September 8th to Breckenridge. These two teams could also see eachother in the Division 8 playoffs.
Shepherd vs Carson City– One team looks for a playoff appearance with their 6th win in Carson City and Shepherd wants to end a tough season on a positive note
Coleman at Saginaw Valley Lutheran
Farwell hosts Roscommon
Vestaburg hosts Holton
