Hold your horses, Leah Remini. She’s claiming that Jada Pinkett Smith is a Scientologist, but the actress herself is denying it. Jada does admit, like Leah claims, that she’s spent time studying Dianetics, which are the tenets of Scientology.
“I have chanted and meditated in some of the most magnificent temples on earth… but I am not a Buddhist,” Jada explains. “I have studied Dianetics, and appreciate the merits of Study Tech… but I am not a Scientologist.”
She goes on to add that she “practices human kindness” and that we have the right to decide what we are and are not. True enough, but there was also the business to consider of a California school founded by Jada and hubby Will Smith that was shut down four years ago due to parental outrage over the fact the curriculum was steeped in Scientology principles.
