The Detroit Tigers sputtered in the finale of a 10-day West coast road trip, falling 4-1 to the Los Angeles Angels. Justin Verlander struggled with his command throughout the game, allowing all four runs in 6 1/3 innings. The Tigers finished the road trip with a 4-5 record, and return home Tuesday to face the Orioles.
