Matthew Boyd took a no-hitter through 5 2/3 innings, and ultimately surrendered only one hit in the Detroit Tigers 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins Tuesday at Comerica Park. Closer Francisco Rodriguez added to the early-season bullpen struggles giving up the Tigers lone run. James McCann blasted his third home run of the season, providing the offense for Detroit. The Tigers improve to 5-2 on the season.
