Justin Verlander looked strong again, and Ian Kinsler hit a key solo home run in the 7th, leading the Detroit Tigers to a 2-1 victory over the Boston Red Sox Monday at Comerica Park. Verlander allowed only one unearned run on three hits in seven innings of work. Reliever Justin Wilson pitched a scoreless 8th inning, earning him the win.
