Mt Pleasant Police arrested 20-year-old Dale Merza of Rochester Hills on Friday. Merza was suspected of smearing peanut butter on the face of former Central Michigan University student Andrew Seely in a non-university fraternity hazing event last October. Seely was severely allergic to peanut butter, and the incident required emergency medical attention. Merza faces a 93-day misdemeanor if convicted.
