Police believe the driver of a Clare County Transit bus may have fallen asleep at the wheel Tuesday afternoon when he crossed the center line and hit an oncoming truck. 65-year-old William Evans of Harrison was driving the bus north on Clare Avenue in Harrison around 4:30PM when the accident occurred. The crash caused significant damage to both vehicles, but neither driver, nor the four passengers on the bus, were injured. The accident remains under investigation.
