A retired U.S. Army Colonel who was born and raised in Mt Pleasant will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery after dying Thursday at 82. Patrick Quinlan was recruited by the Boston Red Sox Farm League while still at Sacred Heart, and later attended Central Michigan University before spending 20 years with the Army. A memorial mass was held Monday at the Woodlawn Chapel in Virginia.
