Meteorologists at the National Weather Service Grand Rapids office issued an urgent winter weather message through 8:00AM on Tuesday. Forecasters say snow will spread over mid-and western-Michigan throughout most of the day on Monday. Up to four additional inches could fall before the storm ends.
