Families in Weidman have teamed up to rebuild and improve the Mitchell Memorial Park Playground. Traci Unger says the group plans to apply for 501c3 status and work on tax deductible fundraising efforts. The vast majority of the playground was taken down last summer over safety concerns. The first fundraiser will be a silent auction and nacho bar set for April.
