A business owner in Ithaca found more than two dozen dead pigs in a dumpster while taking the trash out on Tuesday. Some of the pigs were surgically cut open with missing organs. Police also found medical grade surgical masks, rubber gloves and scalpels in the dumpster. The Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development are conducting an investigation.
