400 plungers took the dive on Saturday in the annual Mt Pleasant Polar Plunge fundraiser for Special Olympics Michigan. SOMI set a goal of $80,000 for this year’s event, and raised the money within the first hour. Warmer weather helped draw a large group of participants to the Wayside Central parking lot for the event.
