The owners of Kaya Coffee House held a public event Wednesday night to discuss strategy for the February 13th Mt Pleasant City Commission meeting which will determine whether they get to stay in their current location. The coffee shop faces possible eviction from its current location if the building is rezoned and ultimately sold to United Apartments. Kaya has been in the location for the past 15 years.
