Two Alma elementary schools will receive flexible seating for 54 third and fourth grade students. A grant from the United Way of Gratiot and Isabella Counties allowed third grade teacher Karly Grant of Hillcrest Elementary, and fourth grade teacher Emily Adams of Pine Avenue Elementary to add the new seating to their classrooms. The flexible seating allows kids to sit in a variety of ways to suit their educational needs.
