Police were led on a foggy chase in Mt Pleasant on Sunday. Parole absconder Cody Bantien from Saugatuck twice stopped at intersections for no reason, police hit lights, then he fled and sent his vehicle airborne by cutting through the Green Spot parking lot. Cody then lead police on a chase which ended in Loomis, where a breath test revealed a blood alcohol level of .196. Bantien is held in the Isabella County Jail in lieu of posting bond.
