The city of Mt Pleasant named Police Captain Paul Lauria the city’s director of public safety and police chief. He succeeds Glenn Feldhauser, who retires from the role in February. Lauria began his career with the Mt Pleasant Police Department as a patrol officer nearly 20 years ago, and attended the FBI National Academy in early 2016.
