The Michigan Wolverines needed a rally, but managed to survive a 14-point deficit, defeating Penn State 72-69 Wednesday night in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines improved to 11-4 on the season, 1-1 in the Big Ten. Derrick Walton Jr. and Zak Irvin scored 14 points each to lead Michigan in the win.
