Police are investigating the death of a 23 year old Wheeler man as he fell from the hood of a moving truck.  The incident took place near 2:30 am in Midland County when a joke went terribly wrong.  The driver, who was arrested on charges of OWI causing death pretended to pull away from his friend as he left the vehicle to relieve himself.  The victim then jumped on the hood of the car, and when the driver hit the breaks the victim hit his head on the road and was pronounced dead at the scene.  No names have been released.
