The United Way of Gratiot and Isabella Counties awarded dozens of teachers with mini-grants over the past several weeks. Teachers in both counties applied for up to $500 each for various initiatives ranging from first aid training to literacy programs to field trip funding and classroom furniture. All together, 83 initiatives received funding.
