The Michigan State Spartans came from 15 points down to defeat Minnesota 75-74 in overtime Tuesday night. Nick Ward led the Spartans with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Alvin Ellis III scored a career-high 20 points in the win. The game was the conference opener for both teams.
