Alma High School plans to move from a semester to a trimester scheduling system starting in the 2017-18 school year. Students will now take five courses around 70 minutes each that change every 12 weeks. The change normalizes the school district with other nearby districts like Shepherd and Mt Pleasant who already run on trimesters.
