A 22-year-old woman faces charges after hitting her 24-year-old boyfriend in the face. Mt Pleasant police say the incident occurred in the 300 block of South Main Street this weekend. The woman said she was upset with her boyfriend for dancing with another woman.
Meanwhile, Mt Pleasant police also responded to a domestic violence case last Wednesday. A 24-year-old Midland woman told police her 22-year-old boyfriend wouldn’t let her leave his Mt Pleasant residence. The boyfriend then went into the bathroom and grabbed the woman by the back of the next and pushed her into the chair, according to the police report.
