Work on a new playground in Shepherd kicked off this weekend. The playground is being built between the walking trails and varsity baseball complex on the south side of town. Organizers say they want the playground to be a place where kids can play together with parents, siblings and friends. It will also be the only inclusive playground in Shepherd.
