Crawford Road Safety Still A Concern

One year after the death of Central Michigan University student Ryan Tsatsos, the university, city of Mt Pleasant and Union Township still don’t have a formal plan to keep Crawford Road safer. Union Township discussed the possibility of installing a sidewalk with lights along the road, or building another pathway toward campus near the road. Mt Pleasant City Manager Nancy Ridley said the city commission wants input from student leaders before anyone makes a final decision or applies for any grants.
